This classifieds ad was supposedly placed in a London newspaper by Ernest Shackleton before one of his expeditions. It has been constantly referenced as an example of Shackleton's leadership and determination against dangerous odds.It is still unknown, whether or not he actually placed the ad as no one has found a definitive source.
