Exeter University's Officer Training Corps is part of the Territorial Army. Student Recruits gain experience in Basic Military Training which incorporates shooting ranges, military tactics and generally living in a field for prolonged periods of time. In short, it's a way for the educated youth of the future to learn how to play Army.
Photographer Chloe Male spent some time with the recruits and took a series of pensive black and white photographs. In the photographs she took, she describes how "Participants act and replicate what they have seen in films and on T.V., how the media and film industries portray heroes and how they act, but not necessarily what real war and war heros are like".
